UFOs spotted in Cape Coral- CAPE CORAL, FL - From Cape Coral to California, people across the country are reporting orange-reddish lights in the night sky. They say they look like fireballs.

It was a normal Sunday night for the Hoffman family in Cape Coral until they spotted something unusual in the night sky. "A big red-orange light and behind that one was another one, and then right behind that one was another one," said Roxane Hoffman.

Hoffman says she saw something similar to what several people in California say they saw on New Year's Eve. "Like a reddish-orange, almost like a fireball but you didn't see any flames," Hoffman said. She says the lights came from the north -- neither she nor her mother-in-law heard a thing. "They moved real slow. Just like they are following each other like two people following each other. It was weird," said Joyce Sanders, Cape Coral.

They say the lights then got behind a large cloud and disappeared. We discovered the National UFO Reporting Center got up to 200 calls between News Year's Eve and January 1 -- all reporting orange-reddish lights in the sky.
